What is frozen kefir?

Not frozen yogurt Not ice cream

Frozen kefir is made from kefir — a fermented, cultured dairy drink teeming with live cultures. Strained and frozen, it becomes a creamy, tangy dessert that's lighter than ice cream.

It carries the clean, fresh tang of real fermentation, a naturally lower level of lactose, and — in our recipe — no added sugar at all.
